Abstract   Increased reliance on modern therapies has meant that traditional remedies, once invaluable in early civilizations, have been pushed to the fringes of medicine. But with the emergence of bacteria resistant to commonly used antibiotics, the value of honey for treating wounds is being rediscovered.
